| Wind, Land & Water Sports promotes being active and being outdoors. We offer Stand Up Paddle Board Rentals, which allow you to explore Lake Norman in a unique way. Stand Up Paddling, also known as ‘SUP’, is a cross between surfing and kayaking. Standing on a board similar to a surfboard, but much larger and more stable, you paddle through the water with a a single blade paddle that is taller than the paddler. You can propel yourself through the water and explore small coves, see wildlife on the shore, see fish in the water, do some fishing, generate a workout, and much more. This sport is so diverse. You can even take along a passenger or two, including your water friendly pets. In addition, we offer ‘SUP’ lessons, ‘SUP’ tours, and can help you customize a nice workout routine. We also specialize in Land Paddling, which is a cross between skateboarding and stand up paddling. |
