| The Charlotte Philharmonic Orchestra is one of the fastest growing orchestras in the nation! Our musicians are among the finest professionals in both North and South Carolina. Many travel up to two hours each way to rehearse and perform. A number of musicians have received Master and Doctorate Music degrees and perform as soloists throughout the area. A common quality is that each has a joy for performing that translates to excitement and energy in each concert. Also, these musicians play in the many traveling Broadway Shows that perform in the Charlotte area as well as contract studio work for albums, television and radio engagements. The Philharmonic is the only recorded orchestra in the Carolinas. The current set of five CD recordings were taken from LIVE concerts, and attest to the high caliber of our musicians at every performance. |
