The Carolina Copperhead organization is a non-profit organization that is based in the Lake Norman, NC area. Our mission with the Copperheads is very simple; we want to help our players reach their potential on the field and off the field. We believe this is best done on the field by exposing them to the best instruction, playing the toughest competition, surrounding them with players with a like mind set for achieving their goals and having fun! We are building more than teams, we are building life long friends and support groups that share a common interest and a passion for the game and for our youth. Everyone that is a part of this organization has had someone special in their youth that took interest or gave time or resources to provide us with an opportunity to learn and grow. We are simply returning that favor!

Since the creation of the Charlotte Hornets in 1901, professional baseball has long established its place in the rich history of the Queen City. From this inaugural season to the turn of the twenty-first century, Charlotte baseball teams have produced 15 championships, 31 post-season berths and one Las Vegas Triple-A World Series appearance.

The Kannapolis Intimidators are the single A farm club in the Chicago White Sox minor league chain. Young players generally one year out of high school or college usually become Kannapolis Intimidators. The White Sox also have affiliates in Bristol, TN (Rookie), Great Falls, MT (Short Season), Winston-Salem, NC (A-Advanced), Birmingham, AL (AA), and Charlotte, NC (AAA). The 2008 Kannapolis Intimidators finished the season with an overall record of 67-68.The Intimidators are one of the 16 teams of the Class A South Atlantic League. The SAL is currently operating in its 105th year. The circuit is one of the biggest geographically in Minor League Baseball, including eight states spanning from Lakewood, NJ, to Savannah, GA. The Kannapolis Intimidators play in the Northern Division of the South Atlantic League. The Intimidators play 140 games in the regular season. The team plays 70 home games at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium, welcoming 13 different major league affiliated teams to Kannapolis, NC. The season begins April 9th and concludes September 7th. The South Atlantic League play-offs begin immediately following the regular season.

Charlotte is known as the birthplace of professional hockey in the South, and the Charlotte Checkers are proud to be part of that history. The Checkers, a member of the ECHL, are the affiliate of the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League and the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League. Following a 17-year hiatus from hockey, Charlotte welcomed the Checkers back in 1993. Since their return, the Checkers have made the playoffs nine times – highlighted by an ECHL Championship in 1996. Charlotte Checkers look to continue the tradition of exceeding the expectations of their fans by providing a family-oriented environment at home games, quality broadcasts and a commitment to the Charlotte community. Founded in 1992, the Charlotte Eagles Soccer Club started with the dream of two men, Brian Davidson and Rick McKinley. It was their vision to launch a club that would not only participate at some of the highest levels of soccer, but to also inspire communities locally and abroad. The dream became a reality in 1993 when the Charlotte Eagles began play as a USL Franchise in the USL's Premier Development League. 16 years later, the Charlotte Eagles Soccer Club is now one of the USL's oldest and most successful clubs in North America.The Club now operates a men's professional soccer franchise, the Charlotte Eagles, a women's W-League franchise, the Charlotte Lady Eagles, and the largest and most popular sports camp program in the Greater Charlotte Area, Learn from the Pros™ Soccer Camps.
