To Our Visitors: Post-Hurricane Helene

Lake Norman is safe and open for travel following Hurricane Helene. While we are fortunate to avoid the worst, our hearts go out to those who have been affected in neighboring regions. For those in need, we currently have limited hotel room availability for individuals displaced by the hurricane. Western NC Travel Advisory

4th of July Events

Lake Norman fireworks, celebrations, & Independence Day parades

Are you ready for America's favorite holiday? Here are some exciting celebrations going on around Lake Norman and the surrounding area. You can catch fireworks from every direction along with the numerous lights from the boats across the water - certainly a spectacle to see. Be cautious on the lake at night, check your lights to be sure they are in working condition, and drive slow as this is one of the busiest nights on the water.

The Peninsula Club's annual fireworks celebration has been cancelled this year due to course renovations. Firework displays will be held on Wednesday, July 3 at Trump National Golf Course (Cocktail Cove) and Saturday, July 6 at the Lake Norman Yacht Club. These are member-only events, however displays can be seen on Lake Norman.
